Crisis/Distress lines Waterloo Region & Ontario

Feeling suicidal, or you just don't want to be alive? Is there something else that is really bothering you - bad grades, parental pressure, boyfriend or girlfriend pressure, anything that's weighing you down?

You are definitely not alone even if it feels like it right now.

There are people who want to help you. Please let them. If you are seriously considering suicide right now, please allow someone to help you. You can call any of the people in the section below. Some of the phone numbers will only work in certain areas so check the area or country. If you can't get through right away or the phone number doesn't work in your area, try a toll-free (no cost) number if there is one listed in your country. If there is not, you can call the police emergency number and ask for help.In most of the USA and Canada, just dial 911. You can also call many people in your life who will want to help you if you let them and ask them. Many people have had thoughts like this and will understand. So you might call a parent or a friend or even a friend's parents if you feel weird about telling your own parents right now. You can also call a clergy person (Minister, Priest, Rabbi, etc). Like I said, there are people who can and will help you.
